Methodist Retirement Communities (MRC) PineCrest is now recruiting for a Senior Living Counselor.
The Senior Living Counselor will be a key sales contributor for our Independent Living and Patio Homes. Responsibilities include devising and implementing marketing strategies to generate leads that can be nurtured into viable prospects, which ultimately result in the attainment of occupancy targets (while bolstering our already strong reputation in the community with respect to how we do our business).

The Successful Candidate…
Candidates must have a track record of successfully achieving sales results, both from their own individual efforts, and as a part of an integrated sales team. Exceptional telephone, presentation and closing skills are required, as is experience with lead management. Above all, a desire to work closely with senior adults is essential!
Graduation from an accredited 4-year college (experience may be substituted for education)
Advanced computer knowledge of Outlook, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel as well as ability to learn relevant community software
Ability to skillfully interview prospects or their representatives to ascertain how the Community will meet their needs as well as understand and possess the skills to conduct proper discovery interviews.
Familiarity with common buyer objections raised by prospects and the knowledge and sail to successfully overcome them.
Proficient knowledge of various methods of sales closing to achieve the sale.
knowledgeable of human development, including the processes of aging and of personal and social problems confronting older people and an ability to work with them.
Knowledgeable of management principles, business procedure and practices, fiscal and personnel administration.
Knowledgeable in programs and practices of federal, state and local government agencies, and social organizations involved in the field of aging is highly desirable.
Recognize this work as a Christian ministry
Work out in the community 4-5 days per week.
Liaison with the Chamber of Commerce and other community events.
Building relationships in the community.
Tracking leads in lead database.
