The Certified County Finance Officer Program is a newprogram funded by the state and delivered by CTAS to county financial officers andtheir staff to provide them an opportunity to learn about accounting andfinancial reporting principles, understand how county governments arestructured in Tennessee, and enhance their skills. Graduates of the programreceive a certification of Certified County Finance Officer. Every county inthe state is encouraged to maintain staff holding the certification.
The CCFO Program Manager will manage the planning,development, marketing and delivery of the CCFO Program, and will serve as aprogram instructor, with duties to include:
Develop and maintain positive proactive workingrelationships with consultants, faculty and program alumni.
Coordinate the training, reporting, and curriculum with theComptroller's Division of Local Audit.
Develop and deliver CCFO training classes, including coursecontent, exercises, and presentations.
Oversee the creation and delivery of training classes byother CCFO consultants, including assisting with course content, exercises,presentations, and delivery.
Assist with research responsibilities, exploring new agencyopportunities and grants, providing services directly to customers, stayingcurrent with professional development, supervising personnel, and budgeting.
Other duties as required.
