This professional position will manage all operational and administrative aspects of the Frederick County Child Advocacy Center (CAC), which coordinates interagency services related to child maltreatment. Collaborative services provided to affected children and their families through a multidisciplinary approach include abuse investigation, forensic medical exams, counseling, information and referrals, and other supports. Supervision is given to County staff assigned to the CAC; supervision is received from the Director, Citizens Services Division.
Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Criminal Justice, or a closely related field
Minimum 8 years of human services work experience that includes the following (items may be concurrent):
Minimum 3 years work experience in a human services program management position which must include child welfare or child advocacy;
Minimum 2 years of supervisory work experience;
Minimum 2 year of budget and fiscal management work experience; and
Minimum 2 years of work experience writing and administering grants
