The Liquidity Solutions Sales Analyst position is a fast paced, challenging role for self-motivated and driven professionals.

Within GSAM, Third Party Distribution (TPD) is responsible for serving clients and driving sales via financial intermediaries including banks, broker/dealers, independent financial advisors, RIAs, retirement platforms, insurance companies and asset managers. As part of Third Party Distribution, the Global Liquidity Management Team provides investment solutions to a range of institutions for their liquidity needs on a direct basis and through intermediary partners (e.g., bank intermediaries and independent portal providers).
A Sales Analyst within the US Liquidity Solutions Sales Team is part of a global effort within the GSAM Third Party Distribution Business responsible for our coverage efforts within the Corporate Treasury market. The Sales Analysts are responsible for supporting and partnering with external salespeople to drive sales of GSAM solutions. The majority of client interactions for this role are by telephone with very limited travel. Additionally, the Sales Analyst will help complete strategic initiatives for individual territories as well as the business more broadly. The Sales Analyst is dedicated to increasing the sale of GSAM money market and short duration fixed income products. The Sales Analyst position is a fast paced challenging sales support role for self-motivated and driven professionals.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS HOW YOU WILL FULFILL YOUR POTENTIAL
Work collaboratively and independently with external salespeople in building the Corporate Cash business in respective territories by delivering on the GSAM value proposition
Execute consistent follow up with clients to advance the sales process and deepen relationships
Demonstrate organized, efficient and effective territory management and phone skills on a daily basis
Develop and build prospecting initiatives/tools to broaden calling efforts of external sales force
Coordinate with Client Service Team and Operations to help facilitate sales/new wins.
Arrange and moderate portfolio management meetings/calls with clients and prospects
Liaise with Legal, Compliance, and Product Management on approval and circulation of marketing materials
Work closely with Strategic Lead Management (SLM) to capitalize on GS & Co. relationships and GS lead offerings
Act as part of a global team to actively identify opportunities for the broader business while driving results in assigned territories
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE WE'RE LOOKING FOR Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree and strong academic background required
Excellent verbal communication and presentation skills required
Strong organization and time management skills required
Strong interest in sales and the financial markets required
Ability to multi-task and work independently
Series 7 and 63 registration licensed or obtained within 3 months of employment
Financial services industry experience and interest in sales preferred
