Christiana Care Health System is currently looking for a Senior Data Governance Analyst , to join our Center for Strategic Information Management team (CSIM). In this role, you will support formation and execution of the data governance framework, policies, procedures and standards. Along with providing data governance expertise, you will assist with development and promotion of information management principles. You will also facilitate governance initiatives with respect to the definition, standardization, quality, integrity, access, privacy and security of data.
Participates in the execution of the data governance strategy for CCHS, working with data stakeholders, IT and external partners.
Promotes and coordinates the development, documentation and implementation of standard data definitions, authoritative data sources and standards policies and procedures that ensure data integrity and quality.
Assists business and technical teams with identification of essential data elements, business rules and ensures that related documentation is maintained and accessible.
Communicates data governance information and policies to the organization, ensuring awareness and understanding of data governance methodology and standards.
Works with data stakeholders to identify data quality or integrity issues and implement timely remediation.
Acts as a subject matter expert on data governance topics and issues.
In partnership with data owners, develop and maintain master data and other taxonomies that will be used for identification and categorization.
Develops and refines appropriate reports which demonstrate program activities and results.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Education and Experience Requirements:
Bachelor's degree or commensurate experience in a related field.
Experience working on information management, data governance and/or electronic health records in a hospital or healthcare environment.
Ability facilitate discussions which clearly define an opportunity, recommend creative solutions and implement changes in a dynamic team environment.
Must be a committed, enthusiastic team player with a focus on continuous performance improvement.
Must have the ability to work constructively with individuals across the organization.
Demonstrated ability to relate data to organizational performance.
