In consultation with the Chief Administrative Officer (CAO), incumbent serves as Finance Manager for the Department of Surgery. The Finance Manager plays a key role on the Department management team, which includes the Department Chair, Finance Committee, CAO, and Clinical Revenue Analyst. The Finance Manager works directly with the CAO and Chair to implement strategies to ensure successful fiscal management of the Department. Incumbent plans, directs, implements, organizes, and manages business office functions including accounting, budgeting, financial reporting, contract and grant account management, purchasing and accounts payable functions, and equipment and facilities management. Incumbent is responsible for financial reporting and analysis, compliance, information systems management, finance office supervision and personnel management. Incumbent oversees day-to-day operations, performs independent analyses, makes decisions that affect department financial operations, develops and implements procedures, and recommends policy changes to CAO, Chair and Finance Committee to ensure compliance with policies, rules and regulations imposed by government and outside agencies, School of Medicine, campus and University authorities.

Salary: Monthly $5,463.67 - $7,452.67 Total Hours: 8-5, M-F Career Position. Final candidate subject to background check. Employment contingent upon successful results of background check.
