Cell Biologist Junior, Assistant, or Associate Specialist Series Arkin Lab, Department of Pharmaceutical Chemistry University of California, San Francisco
The Laboratory of Michelle Arkin and the Small Molecule Discovery Center (SMDC) in the Department of Pharmaceutical Chemistry is seeking a highly self-motivated and responsible individual for a cell biologist position. The successful candidate will work with the Accelerating Therapeutics for Opportunities in Medicine (ATOM) Consortium to develop and run multiple 2D and 3D High Content cell based assay formats to measure and predict hepatocyte toxicity. The ATOM Consortium is a partnership between academia, industry, and government labs with the goal of rapidly accelerating drug discovery by integrating modeling, machine learning, and human-relevant in vitro models. One of our goals in ATOM is to optimize preclinical safety predictions, so we can incorporate predictive toxicology early in the drug discovery process.
