The Senior Library Assistant performs a variety of library support services within the Metadata and Digitization Services department. Depending on area of work, performs one or more of the following duties:
Material location transfers
Physical and electronic government document record updates
Added copies and record transfers
4 .Investigation/analysis and resolution of catalog & system code issues
Assist with withdrawal and deaccession projects
Manage or assist with collection projects
May assist/direct the work activities of library student workers.
Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
Comfort with technology
Strong communication skills
High school and 1 year experience
Requires a basic knowledge of grammar, spelling, punctuation and simple mathematical functions like percentages, ratios, etc. as might normally be acquired through attainment of a high school diploma or GED.
Requires a minimum of one (1) year of directly job-related experience.
