A 12-month residencies is offered in conjunction with Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, Ernest Mario School of Pharmacy and Horizon Blue Cross/Blue Shield of New Jersey. The primary goal of the program is to offer advanced training in managed care practice and outcomes research with a strong academic component. Residents will be trained in formulary management, disease state management programs, utilization management, specialty management, outcome research, and drug information. There is a strong emphasis on medication therapy management. Opportunities for teaching are available. Applicants should possess a Pharm.D. degree and are required to get New Jersey State license when accepted in the residency program.
