The Exhibits Services Specialist supports the Operations team in the successful execution of all events managed in the Government & Technology event portfolio. The ideal candidate for this entry-level position will be customer service oriented, have excellent communication skills, and be detail oriented. This position is an great opportunity to enter the event management field and has opportunities for growth.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities (in order of importance):
Assisting in all logistical activities relating to planning and executing an exposition
Compiling Exhibitor Service Kits components
Write, produce and execute exhibitor newsletters and bulletins by email
Serve as a primary customer service resource for exhibitors
Work with vendors on project-specific activities
Assist efforts to improve exhibitor experiences
Coordinate SPARGO services in relation to Exhibitors for each event and manage/track the Major
Other assigned duties
Qualifications (computer & communication skills, training, certification, etc.):
Ability to successfully coordinate multiple long and short term projects simultaneously
Strong professional image and solid organizational and interpersonal skills
Proficiency with MS Office applications and ability to quickly master new applications
