As a valued member of Bishop Site team, you will provide Mechanical Maintenance & Machine support with a Safety-First mindset. This role includes but is not limited to installing, maintaining, troubleshooting and repair of rotating equipment, to include completion of preventative maintenance tasks. You will be reporting to the Mechanical Maintenance Execution Manager.

Ingredients for Success: What We Look For In You...
Promote all aspects of Safety and ensure all LOTO and safety procedures are followed
Diagnose and perform all mechanical operations necessary to modify, dismantle, repair, overhaul and rebuild all types of plant machinery and process equipment
Understanding of and ability to conduct precision alignment of rotating equipment is required
Read blueprints, P&ID's, Isometric drawings
Effective communication via established feedback loop
Inspects own and others work for quality and dimensional requirements
Must read, comprehend, and execute tasks and concepts found in technical operating and maintenance manuals
Routinely rigs equipment for lifting with either hoist or cranes. Loads routinely run several thousand pounds
Qualifications - BASF recognizes institutions of Higher Education which are accredited by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation or equivalent
HS Diploma (or equivalent) and GED
5 years' experience in troubleshooting and mechanical maintenance of rotating equipment (this could include the following: Pumps; Gearboxes, Lubrication etc.)
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
Strong problem solving/troubleshooting skills.
Knowledge of safety practices, safe work methods and safety regulations.
Ability to work in a team environment and establish and maintain effective working relationships with all departments at the facilities.
Ability to drive continuous improvement.
Associate Degree, Apprenticeship, or equivalent Military Training
Previous experience in mechanical maintenance
Working knowledge of chemical plant equipment and technologies
Knowledge of SAP data entry used for notification and history process
