Baptist Health Systems is seeking Cath Lab Registered Nurses, Technologists, and Rad Techs to join our team. We are offering Full time and Part time roles with up to $10k sign on bonus for select positions.
Registered Nurse Cath Lab Description:
This role provides direct clinical patient care. The role will assume responsibility for assessing, planning, implementing direct clinical care to assigned patients on a per shift basis, and unit level. The role is responsible for supervision of staff to which appropriate care is delegated. The role is accountable to support CNO to ensure high quality, safe and appropriate nursing care, competency of clinical staff, and appropriate resource management related to patient care.
Education Required: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing Preferred: Academic degree in nursing (Bachelors or Master’s degree)
Certifications Required: Must be currently licensed, certified or registered to practice profession as required by law, regulation in state of practice or policy. CPR
Cath Lab Technologist Description:
Performs hemodynamic monitoring procedures of a highly specialized nature as well as assists the physician during all procedures. Works with patients from adolescents to geriatrics. Completes established competencies for the position within designated introductory period. Other related duties as assigned.
Assists nursing personnel with emergency procedures
Assumes responsibility for maintenance and quality control of equipment
Cleans and packages instruments/supplies for sterilization
Assumes role of monitor tech as needed
Required: High school graduate or equivalent Preferred: Formal cardiovascular technology training preferred
Required: 1 year health care experience Preferred: year in cardiac cath lab
Required: BLS; ACLS within 12 months of hire into position
Cath Lab Rad Techs Description:
Summary: Performs diagnostic procedures utilizing radiation detection and imaging equipment. Provides quality care to patients of all age groups; from newborn to elderly, according to department standards.
Qualifications: Minimum Education: Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology
Required Certifications/Licensure: Possession of current Texas State registration. Possession of American Registry of Radiologic Technologists, in Radiography or registry eligible. Must have ARRT within one year post graduation of accredited school.
Required Courses (e.g., CPR): BLS-Obtained through approved American Heart Association Training Center or the Military Training Network.
