: We are seeking a highly motivated R&D S&E, Systems Engineer for our team\. On any given day, you may be called on to: + Serve as a liaison between the Accident Response Group \(ARG\) staff and nuclear weapon system staff for recruiting, exercise development and coordination, training and readiness improvement\.+ Engage the Technology Integration \(TI\) process and other Product Realization Team \(PRT\) efforts to develop tools necessary for safely recovering from a nuclear weapon accident to include assessment, stabilization and packaging\.+ Establish training consistent with the ARG Capability Based Assessment \(CBA\) and ARG improvement plan for improving overall ARG readiness for weapon recovery and health and safety mission requirements\.+ Establish yourself as a trusted expert on US nuclear weapon safety, weapon response and hazard mitigation in international and domestic settings to interagency leadership\.+ Coordinate resolution of Unsatisfactory Reports, enable stockpile and test and handling equipment improvements, and manage nuclear weapon material spares\.+ Provide training to the DoD and the NNSA nuclear weapons complex on several specified topics which could include historical aspects and development of the nuclear weapons stockpile, treaties, technical and programmatic aspects of the enduring stockpile, basic nuclear physics, weapon hazards and nuclear safety\. When SNL was formed in 1949, ML became an SNL function\. Today, ML serves as the operational interface between the NNSA Weapon Complex and the military services for stockpiled nuclear weapons\. ML supports the military services as well as other government agencies, such as the Defense Threat Reduction Agency and carries out several tasks under the authority of DOE: + Field engineering include anomaly resolution, field retrofit and repair, product realization team involvement, spares analysis and Joint Nuclear Weapons Publication System development for war reserve weapons, TYPE trainers, and ancillary gear\.+ Accident Response Group provides world\-wide support to the NNSA and DoD in resolving incidents or accidents involving U\.S\. nuclear weapons or components\. This team provides leadership in developing incident and accident scenarios that are then used to exercise and assess the international, national, and local resources should a real\-world event occur\.+ ML provides a variety of nuclear weapon training activities tailored to diverse organizations across the Nuclear Security Enterprise and DoD installations\.+ ML JNWPS team maintains over 140 JNWPS publications used by operational and maintenance personnel throughout the complex to support the nuclear weapons stockpile and acts as the single point of distribution for DoD weapon platform technical orders\.
