This position involves 50% clinical time and 50% leadership responsibilities. Direct clinical responsibility over 9+ primary care practices to ensure performance on quality, access, patient satisfaction, and financial metrics.
Recruit, hire, train and mentor providers.
Build and oversee high performing, engaged clinical teams who deliver consistent, high quality patient care.
Work collaboratively to develop and implement a comprehensive patient access strategy consistent with Christiana Care annual operating plan goals.
Identify and establish performance metrics for strategic initiatives and team performance.
Partner with community healthcare providers and government entities to achieve goals.
Board certified Family Medicine, Internal Medicine or Med Peds.
Minimum five years clinical work experience.
Minimum three years clinical leadership experience with responsibility over quality initiatives, clinical programs, multiple primary care practices and/or academic endeavors.
Master's degree in a healthcare leadership or administration or similar fields preferred
Proven track record of achieving or exceeding performance goals related to quality, patient experience and financial performance.
Experience leading successful and cohesive clinical teams.
Demonstrates excellent leadership, interpersonal and communication skills.
Experience in strategic planning, project management and developing performance metrics.
Clinical work experience in a large, complex health care system preferred.
