Our client is seeking a Domain Architect for a full time position. This position provides leadership, stewardship, and champions the execution of the enterprise architecture within the context of a business domain. This position also provides leadership to the Software Engineers on application architecture and integrations and will be the principle point of contact with the architecture team for the domain. Candidate should have a minimum of 5 years of experience.
Work with the eCommerce and IT teams, responsible for the ongoing enrichment and maintenance of the domain specific Product Roadmaps. Work in support of the Principal Architect and domain leadership team
Serve as an expert in the technology domain
Determine the programming requirements for systems
Design flexible web, mobile and cloud based frameworks
Analyze and improve performance of the software
Recommend and govern the design and implementation of solutions within the domain
Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of the operational characteristics of the domain and collaborates with the Principal Architect and domain leadership teams in the analysis of the effects of changes on the applications and architecture
In conjunction with the Principal Architect, assist in developing technical requirements and solution designs throughout the complete software development lifecycle
Participate in the application / solution selection process
5 to 10 years
5 to 10 years of experience in architecture or 10+ years experience in system engineering roles or equivalent
Minimum of 7 years of hands-on design and implementation experience in multiple technology domains encompassing platforms, storage, network, client architectures, virtualization, cloud based technology, and ITSM processes
5 to 10 years of experience in .NET / C# / MVC / WEB API / WCF / HTML5 / CSS
