Alongside other senior leaders in the APAC region they will be accountable for strategic implementation of our firm's mission. The Head of FCC will develop and manage various practices specializing in governance, risk and compliance across a range of industries. This includes business development, product development, staff management and client portfolio management. In addition, will be responsible for delivering high quality products and services to the firm's clients, leading multiple teams. The Head of FCC will have hands-on expertise and thought leadership, drawing on experience gained in leadership positions in the world's largest financial institutions, corporations and governmental agencies to help clients manage their complex and critical compliance, risk and governance issues.
Create, Develop and Nurture Exiger's business to produce better relationships and generate revenue.
Manage key elements of the Exiger Advisory practice to meet business targets through business development activity, which involves sales and marketing activity (networking/speaking at industry events/client alerts and white papers) and presenting proposals to prospective new clients.
Identify sales opportunities and progress to completion.
Play a key role in managing client relationships, influencing expectations, and ensuring satisfaction in area of responsibility.
Develop an understanding of the client business challenges and help formulate solutions for client needs.
Lead, motivate, coach and develop large high performing teams to execute for our clients.
Develop thought leadership on the impact of emerging risk issues and changes in the regulatory landscape on the operations of financial institutions and corporations in order to help clients proactively identify and address future compliance, risk and governance issues.
Scope and lead the delivery of Financial Crime Compliance analytical work and support and guide team members as required.
Responsible for day to day management and technical execution of all research, compliance, analysis and investigative work conducted.
Provide technical oversight of all compliance, risk and governance advisory work conducted by teams within areas of responsibility.
Management and oversight of compliance technology implementation, optimization and testing.
Maintain an effective professional network to stay abreast of developments within the industry.
Maintain an understanding of the regulatory environment, regulatory drivers and business strategies to enable effective evaluation of governance, risk management and compliance environments in financial institutions and corporations.
Act as an ambassador for Exiger with external stakeholders.

Experience of banking preferred, insurance and asset management considered.
Ideally strong FCC experience with all three disciples: AML, Sanctions and ABC, but other FCC skills will be considered.
Professional Experience Required
Bachelor's Degree required. MBA, Masters or Ph.D., and professional certification preferred.
Minimum 10+ years of experience in compliance, risk and governance related work.
Previous consulting experience.
Computer and Internet proficient, with mastery of Microsoft applications required.
Proficient written and verbal English language skills.
Ability to travel domestically and internationally based on client locations and needs.
Additional language skills are a plus.
