The Advancement Data Coordinator is a key role in the Office of Advancement. The coordinator helps ensure data integrity, oversees the recurring gift and matching gift programs, coordinates special projects and works closely with student workers.
Oversees the recurring and matching gift programs with a focus on streamlining and accuracy. Trains team on associated procedures.
Coordinates with the Assistant Director of Gifts, Records and Data Integrity to identify and resolve data entry and data integrity problems.
Coordinates special projects, including those related to student work.
Assists with the recruitment and management of student workers, ensuring effective training, data quality checks and implementation of projects.
Ensures prompt and accurate data entry from team related to special projects.
Coordinates with the Assistant Director to ensure that policies and procedures are up to date.
Responsible for being a key customer service resource to constituents and staff, answering questions about gift and constituent record issues.
Assists in the creation of standard and special reports as needed.
Understands and adheres to IRS and CASE regulations that govern gifts.
Assists Assistant Director with training new staff members.
Completes day-to-day biographic and gift entry updates.
Other duties as assigned.
College degree plus one to three years of relevant experience or the equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
Experience in data entry, data management, and reporting, preferably related to gift and constituent record information.
Experience in College/University Advancement/Fundraising departments
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
High level of computer literacy
Proficiency with MS Office Suite
Experience with Relational Database
Project management skills
This is a full time, exempt level position.
