Reporting to the COO – Investments and working closely with the Fund's enterprise Risk and Governance & Compliance teams, this role is responsible for enhancing Cbus' line one defences and supporting business activities through developing and advocating for strong risk frameworks and ensuring robust Compliance functions within Investments.
This senior role has the primary responsibility of ensuring that robust risk management and compliance frameworks, policies, processes and controls are in place and operating effectively across the investment team in support of ongoing and new strategic initiatives, regulatory compliance and good governance. The role will be responsible for Investment team compliance with the Investment Governance Framework, the effective management of risk within the Investments team and compliance oversight of third parties including the Fund's custodian and Investment Managers.
To be successful you will have a proven background in governance, operational risk and compliance in financial services (superannuation or investment management experience preferred) understanding the existing interdependencies of processes, systems, risks and controls.
You need to have the capability and experience to manage pressure, tight timelines and competing stakeholder priorities, along with tertiary qualifications in a business, legal or related field.
