The Program Support Associate will perform diverse administrative duties and research, including written and verbal correspondence, meeting and calendar management, coordination and arrangement of travel schedules, monthly time and expense reporting, conduct assigned research, write and/or edit documents for publication, create research presentations and reports in PowerPoint, Excel and graphs, coordinate and manage events, This position impacts the Foundation’s image, internal morale, respect and external perception of Foundation integrity. You may travel 10-20%.
What you will do
The primary duty of the Program Support Associate is providing project management, event coordination, and administrative support to the Director.
Specific duties will include the following:
Performs a number of administrative, research, and analytical tasks in support of the Director’s projects, including reviewing and recommending changes to initiatives; analyzing data; drawing conclusions and recommending changes.
Schedule and plan meetings, conferences, events or presentations including coordinating arrangements for participants; handling logistics, preparing and disseminating materials.
Manages calendars, arranges schedule of appointments and meetings for supervisor, exercising discretion in committing the Director’s time.
Coordinates and performs research and documentation, prepares and composes reports and presentations under the direction of the Director.
Establishes and maintains files concerned with, budgeting and/or policy matters; records actions taken on sensitive issues, and is responsible for releasing information to authorized parties.
Performs ongoing administrative tasks such as developing and maintaining budgets, pipeline tracking, tracking of pending proposals, reporting follow-up, budget requests; analyzing data and researching, administering and developing assigned reports.
Compiles a variety of narrative and statistical reports, locating sources of information, devising forms needed to secure data; determines proper format for finished reports; may edit draft reports for grammatical and punctuation errors.
May extract, print, copy, and mail various reports.
May perform special projects as required by the Director.
Perform all duties in an efficient and accurate manner.

Basic qualifications required for your success:
Five years of administrative experience
Understanding of Tribal government and Tribal organizations
Demonstrated research experience in a corporate, non-profit or university setting
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
Comprehensive knowledge of computer software applications such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
MBA, JD or Paralegal Certification
