The EMEA Life Insurance team is a team within the Wealth Management division. The team is searching for a talented, ambitious Associate to support the EMEA Head of Life Insurance in Paris. The EMEA Life Insurance business is today primarily conducted out of J.P. Morgan Courtage S.A.S. (Courtage). It is proposed that the mediation of insurance will be replicated in J.P. Morgan International Bank Limited (JPMIB) and, ultimately, transitioned to J.P. Morgan Bank Luxembourg S.A. (JPMBL). The role will be instrumental in supporting these changes.
Governance: Provide support to the EMEA Head of Life Insurance in the governance of the Life Insurance business in Courtage.
Influencing: The role requires an experienced project or business manager - comfortable with working alongside all levels in the business, with a strong track record of performance to deliver outstanding results.
Culture: Responsible for supporting the EMEA Head of Life Insurance in ensuring that culture of the Courtage team supports good conduct, behavior and effective risk management.
Strategy: Support the EMEA Head of Life Insurance in the design, development and implementation the Life Insurance strategy in Courtage. Develop the business model to adjust to local market developments and regulatory requirements within the overall EMEA framework, which will be set by the EMEA Head of Life Insurance and the Life Insurance team in London.
Controls: Ensure that the Courtage team has first line controls that are designed to ensure they are well controlled, compliant with internal policies & procedures and external regulations.
Governance: Ensuring that there is an effective governance structure for the Courtage team.
Issue resolution and escalation: Resolve issues formally raised by risk, compliance and audit in respect of the Courtage team.

Insurance: Minimum of two years' experience of insurance-based investments and the regulatory environment (including IDD and/or MiFID II regulations).
