•Under general supervision, conducts comprehensive planning for and implementation of BCLT-sponsored student events, including the Tuesday-Thursday student luncheon series, BCLT-sponsored career events, annual new student orientation, twice-yearly curriculum planning session, and special events for LLMs; engages law firms and other external constituencies, including speaker identification and coordination; coordinates BCLT’s student-related activities with law school Career Development Office, public interest office, and Advanced Degree Program. •Coordinates and provides administrative support to student-led groups sponsored by BCLT; prepares the new student handbook; manages the development, production, and external distribution of the law student resume books; manages 1L mentor program; manages the law & technology certificate, including responding to student questions on course eligibility and planning and executing the award ceremony; implements recruitment outreach program targeted at STEM students. •Assists in the planning and implementation of other BCLT events, including enlisting and supervising student workers and helping to staff outward-facing events; contributes to BCLT’s communications and reporting capabilities, by recording in Salesforce all sponsor participation in student programs, helping to maintain our customized Salesforce database of contacts, and assisting in preparation of communications products; other administrative duties as assigned.•Knowledge of basic concepts and principles of building and maintaining effective relations with a variety of constituencies. •Basic knowledge of the institution, its mission, vision, goals, achievements, policies, and infrastructure. •Organizational skills including skill to prioritize and meet prescribed deadlines; event planning skills; detail oriented. •Written, verbal and interpersonal skills, including tact and political acumen to effectively represent the institution. •Analytical and critical thinking skills. •Applicable computer skills, including basic familiarity with Salesforce or related technology, and/or familiarity with MS Word and Excel, electronic calendaring (e.g. Doodle), electronic file sharing (e.g. Box or Google Docs), and email applications. •Ability to successfully complete a criminal background check. •Ability to work evenings as needed for events.
Education/Training: •Bachelor’s degree in related area and/or equivalent experience/training
