EI Enterprise Services (ENS) controls Morgan Stanley's wide area networks, local area networks, telephony, trading turrets, voice recording with End User Computing, cellular networks globally. The team operates across 1300 locations in 43 countries and manages several hundred additional client, exchange and market data connections.
This role is required to provide necessary Level-3 operational Management coverage for Morgan Stanley Network infrastructure. This includes both incident management and delivery/task execution. Some of the projects for the EMEA Network Ops team include London DC refresh, Cisco Critical Refresh, Internet Plant Upgrade (MSSIP). There are a number of hygiene initiatives (code upgrades, reboots, configuration audits) that need to be managed utilising the outsourced L1/L2 resources can be used for this. The candidate would need to be the EMEA lead for Networks. This requires Incident Management, Problem Management, and Vendor Management.
The role will require on-call escalation, some weekend work and change execution.
The candidate should have strong hands on technical ability to allow good troubleshooting on issues raised to the L3 NetOps team
