Develop and maintain web applications and programs in an agile development workflow. Design, code, test, implement, debug and help to maintain college intranet and internet web applications; develop web solutions for grants related projects; monitor application servers to ensure uptime and availability. Provide support to grant administrators, faculty and staff of the college including, providing viable web-solutions to support the colleges' mission and grant related activities, developing and updating user guides, and training users on how to use web solutions. Research new web technologies and tools and prototype new websites for demonstration purposes and maintain project status reports for dissemination at weekly meetings.
Required Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field.
Preferred Education: Web Development related degree or certificate.
Required Experience: 2 or more years of experience working to develop and maintain web development projects. Experience maintaining high-traffic website. Experience with Drupal 7 (module and theming), and Drupal 8 Front-end theming (Twig Templates).
Preferred Experience: Proficient understanding of code versioning tools in a team setting (GIT preferred). Experience successfully producing code that passes code-testing and review. Experience working with Drupal Multi-sites, including writing code following strict Drupal standards and best practices. Experience with Front-end task automation (Gulp, Grunt). Experience with Agile Scrum development model (e.g. JIRA)
Preferred Skills, Knowledge and Abilities: Familiarity with government grant programs. Comfortable with command-line tool (i.e. Drush). Familiarity with browser testing and debugging.
