The Liquidity Solutions team has responsibility for liquidity management, cash deposit, investment products and revenues for the clients of the Treasury Services (TS) division. Product Managers and Client Solutions Specialists work in partnership with the TS Sales & Coverage Banking organizations to structure global cash management solutions for multi-national corporations and financial institution clients.
Within Liquidity Solutions, the Cash Concentration Product Management team is responsible for the design, execution and management of Notional Pooling, Physical Cash Concentration, Earning Credit Rates and Access Liquidity Solutions.
This Vice President position will be responsible for the direct management of the Physical Cash Concentration suite of solutions, including: domestic, cross-border sweeping, cross-currency sweeping, multi-bank sweeping and Just-in-Time Funding to ensure the business develops and maintains delivery of market viable, regulatory compliant, and risk controlled solutions for the EMEA Region The successful candidate will deliver revenue growth, ensure market viability, regulatory compliance and effective risk and controls in addition to management and coaching to the team of product managers aligned to the product suite.
Regional management of the Physical Cash Concentration product suite, accountable to the regional Head of Cash Concentration.
Drive the strategic direction of the product suite through expertise in market trends, evolving client cash management requirements and through the use of innovative solutions and technology.
Establish, measure and meet key performance indicators (KPI) including financial targets including client penetration.
Evaluate and drive opportunities to reduce cost of ownership for product suite.
Drive New Business Initiatives from concept through delivery, including requisite approval processes at regional and country level and post-implementation review (PIR).
Manage and execute comprehensive commercialization plans for existing and new solutions.
Work with Legal to ensure that any changes to the Product's status quo are reviewed and captured into the Legal Agreement(s).
Actively manage product issues as they arise and address root causes in partnership with functional teams.
Create opportunities to improve the client experience.
Risk, Regulatory & Remediation Management
Active ownership of all risk and regulatory items impacting product suite.
Work closely with functional partners in Risk, Legal and Compliance to ensure new regulations are fully understood and acted upon efficiently and in a timely manner. Ensure risks and impact by segment are fully understood and documented appropriately.
Ensure strong controls are in place end-to-end, including all activities related to client on-boarding, operational processes, legal, compliance, accounting and tax. Ensure strong end-to-end product management control framework is maintained and updated in line with changes in legal and regulatory environment.
Work with functional partners in operations and technology to actively support minimisation of manual processes and activities.
Actively identify, manage and remediate any risk issue and develop FORCE action plans as necessary. Proactively contribute to regular product risk and compliance reviews.
Maintain Know Your Product (KYP) document.
Sales and Marketing
Support and participate in client meetings to drive Corporate segment growth.
Develop and drive commercialization strategy for product suite as part of wider TS value proposition.
Drives the creation and delivery of training to partners on product suite.
Ensure marketing material is comprehensive and up to date at all times.
Identify and drive opportunities to increase market presence through industry forums and thought leadership.
Partner closely with the NA and APAC regional Cash Concentration Product teams to deliver global solutions for clients.
Work in partnership with wider product organization within and across regions.
Establish and grow productive relationship with functional partners.
Collaborate effectively with Commercial Bank and Investor Services colleagues.
Support learning and coaching of team members.
Qualifications / Experience
Exposure to regulatory environment and risk and remediation frameworks strongly preferred.
Previous experience in cash concentration product set preferred.
Proven product, operational or business management experience.
Banking knowledge, including knowledge of the TS business and Liquidity Management.
Track record of strong partnerships with key stakeholders.
Liquidity and investment product knowledge desired.
