Description: Citi's Financial Institution Group is actively looking for experienced analysts to join its Insurance and Asset Management vertical.
The Senior Analyst works together with more senior CIB officers and professionals, participating in client transactions, projects or assignments, as the junior member of a professional team. Day-to-day responsibilities of a Senior Analyst include financial analysis and modeling, company and industry research, participating in the development of client presentations and interacting with senior bankers and clients. Assignments fall into a range of categories, including M&A, divestitures, general and strategic advisory, restructuring and capital markets.
Proper performance of the duties of the Senior Analyst position requires the theoretical and practical application of a body of highly specialized knowledge. Accordingly, the academic requirement for assuming the Senior Analyst position is, at a minimum, attainment of a Bachelor-level degree with concentrated coursework in Finance, Economics and/or closely related areas. Prior experience in Financial Institutions investment banking is preferable but not required.
