Job Summary The Associate VP-Network Applications provides executive oversight, leadership, and strategic planning for the Clinical, Business, ERP, and integration applications portfolio and Health Information Exchange Network, ensuring that the processes are well integrated and comprehensive such that the organizational initiatives provide targeted stakeholder return. This role will oversee the entire application portfolio lifecycle and will recruit, maintain, and oversee all teams installing and supporting software applications.
Is responsible for ensuring that IT application priorities are aligned with strategic priorities and goals, and that there is centralized responsibility for core principles of IT application portfolio management including budget, risk management, strategic alignment of IT investments, capacity planning, demand management, and standardization of investment procedure and plans.
Establishes strategic alignment by linking IT strategy with business imperatives and a planning process that communicates effectively about costs, impacts, and progress.
Establishes robust financial management processes for long range planning and forecasting and fostering quality and fiscal accountability for projections.
Participate in negotiation teams with legal and business representatives.
Provide oversight to the contract management function including contract amendments, renewals and extensions.
Assist with macro sourcing strategy development and execution - gather stakeholder and subject-matter insights/business requirements to ensure sourcing solutions meet business needs, identify process re-engineering opportunities to increase efficiencies
Establish effective governance and portfolio management processes to ensure stakeholder engagement, consensus on portfolio prioritization, effective resource management, and functional accountability through all phases of an initiative's lifecycle.
Ensure that the interaction and communication with key business and clinical leaders promotes full understanding of enterprise strategies and goals.
Recruit, retain, and develop a management team to provide project management, application lifecycle management, and full application support capabilities.
