UMKCs Office of Cashiers and Collections is accepting applications for an Office Support Staff IV. The person in this position will be an independent decision maker, highly organized with strong attention to detail and have excellent customer service skills. The ideal candidate will be able to constantly evaluate workload and priorities, multitask efficiently, and be receptive to an ever-changing list of duties.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
Respond to incoming customer service calls and emails
Place outbound collection calls, providing In-person customer service and payment processing
Manage and balancing a daily cash drawer for student payment processing
Prepare repayment agreements and providing students with accurate, timely information
Assist with student system data entry, update and review
Use Perceptive Content software to image documents and link to student and donor records accurately
Perform daily gift recording tasks for all donations to the University and affiliates
Assist in student loan functions/tasks
High School Diploma or an equivalent combination of education and experience and at least 5 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary.
Experience with PeopleSoft Campus Solutions and Financials applications
Experience with Gift Processing and/or Ellucian Advance system
Full Time/Part Time
$14.00 - $16.00 and will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.
