The Director, Military Property Warehouse, is responsible for the procurement, receipt, storage, issue, maintenance and accountability of Corps of Cadets uniforms. Create and maintain budget for the Uniform Handling account. Implement issue lists and coordinate and execute uniform purchase plan. Support Corps of Cadets activities as they relate to uniforms.
Required Education and Experience:
Bachelors degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ten years supervisory experience, including experience in property management/inventory control.
Required Knowledge and Skills:
Computer knowledge - Word, Access, Excel
Ability to multi-task and work cooperatively with others.
Business Administration or Industrial Distribution degree.
Preferred Knowledge and Skills:
Computerized inventory control
Responsible for the receipt, storage, issue, maintenance and accountability of all Corps of Cadets uniform parts.
Supervise and direct the job performance of all personnel assigned to the MPW. Oversee accounting systems, including uniform billings, uniform purchases, vouchers and payroll.
Implement the yearly uniform purchase plan. Create and maintain budget for the Uniform account. Conduct uniform inventories, account for salvage uniforms.
Coordinate with uniform vendors, TAMU purchasing dept. regarding current and future contracts, inspect uniforms as part of the bidding process.
Research new vendors. Coordinate with other Senior Military Colleges as relating to uniform issues.
Coordinate MPW support for New Student Conferences, uniform board and FOW.
Provide customer service to cadets, troubleshoot financial problems, communicate MPW policies and procedures to commanders, parents and prospective cadets.
Serve on various university committees as assigned. Act as diversity representative for the Office of the Commandant. Coordinate continuing education programs for the Office of the Commandant. Other duties as assigned.
