Knowledge such as that obtained through a Bachelor's degree OR which may be obtained through equivalent experience/training such as might be achieved through five to seven years' experience in planning, organizing, and directing a custodial-based work force and which experience demonstrates the ability to independently perform the wide range of assignments associated with administration and management of custodial or related services.
Advanced knowledge of custodial and housekeeping services including knowledge of codes and policies governing bio hazardous and / or hazardous waste and other applicable legal and government-mandated regulations and requirements related to custodial services.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely to diverse audiences.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to synthesize information then develop and implement effective / innovative solutions.
Demonstrated ability to build effective working relationships and negotiate effectively. Demonstrated insight, tact, political acumen, and diplomacy skills sufficient to foster and build effective working relationships, build consensus, and negotiate. Ability to lead and manage with a customer-focused orientation and be attentive and responsive to concerns when working with administration, management, and staff at all levels of the organization.
