Job Description: The SVP, Marketing Insights & Analytics will be responsible for leveraging insights, data and analysis to support the optimization and evolution Citi Cards' Existing Customer Marketing (ECM) strategy. This role will be part of a newly established team focused on defining and executing on a new vision to bring a more holistic, efficient, and creative approach to the marketing efforts across all digital and offline channels. The individual will be responsible for delivering strategic insights, business analysis and a new segmentation strategy to support a holistic Customer Relationship Management platform and approach. Specific responsibilities include:
Designing and implementing a new segmentation framework to drive more efficient and customer-focused marketing within Existing Customer Marketing
Designing and leading governance and cross-collaboration forums to ensure alignment and socialization of segmentation and marketing innovation across ECM
Leveraging data and trends to identify actionable insights to support ECM marketing strategy
Conducting customer/competitive research to identify and capitalize on new strategic opportunities
Developing ad-hoc analysis at a segment/product level to better understand market dynamics and how Citi strategy compares to our main competitors'
Leading and being accountable for portfolio-level analytics to identify opportunities to foster customer engagement across all ECM programs, throughout the customer life-cycle, from early-engagement to retention
Developing a segment/product-level reporting system aiming to track how ECM strategy by segment is being translated into tactics to drive customer engagement, and assessing efficiency and returns
Liaising with enterprise Customer Relationship Marketing ("CRM") efforts to represent the Customer Engagement & Innovation (CEI) organization's needs while managing and improving financial processes and reporting across all channels and offers
Engaging regularly with all key stakeholders (Product Champions, Program Managers, Finance, Decision Management), to share analysis and insights on opportunities to improve CEI efficiency and ROI
Identifying opportunities to optimize targeting strategy by segment, ensuring proper ECM coverage by segment, working closely with Decision Management
Strong analytical background, ideally with experience in marketing analytics and/or segmentation
Customer-centric with ability to balance both customer benefits and business financials to identify win-win for customers and Citi
Strong interpersonal skills and demonstrated success in building collaborative relationships with the ability to influence the development and execution of key strategies/initiatives
Proven communication skills, both verbal and written, with ability to present to varied and large audiences
Capable of navigating in dynamic and complex organization environments
Comfortable operating in a highly matrixed, complex arena
Self-aware with ability to adapt to various situations
Strong customer focus and past achievement in applying a customer mindset to shape solutions and approach to realize marketplace potential and meet financial goals
Proven strategic creative marketer with a strong results orientation
Previous experience in analytics and/or finance needed; marketing experience a plus
