Norges Bank Real Estate Management is organised as a separate division within Norges Bank Investment Management and is managing the fund's unlisted real estate portfolio.
Norges Banks Real Estate Management (NBREM) is seeking a dedicated and results oriented professional for the position as Advisor/Senior Advisor to the Communications and Corporate Counsel team within the Administrative area in NBREM. The Communication and Corporate Counsel team is responsible for external and internal communication, developing and maintaining the governance framework and acting as a secretariat for the various boards and committees.
Your role will involve managing the governance framework, mapping out processes, coordinating audit bodies and enhancing the internal control environment globally. You will also be contributing to the secretariat work and the Executive Board deliverables.
The position is located in Oslo or London, and will report to the Manager of Corporate Counsel. Some travel will be required
Maintaining and developing the governance framework for NBREM
Maintaining and developing internal governing documents e.g. mandates, policy and guidelines
Developing an overview of subsidiary structure and directorship
Developing corporate processes and key controls
Facilitating the preparation of committee and board documents
Coordinating audit bodies and projects
Developing and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Contributing to a hardworking, high-performing team with a focus on results
University degree with strong academic records
Relevant experience from external or internal audit, preferably from international environments
Demonstrated analytical skills
Proactive and self-driven work style and a good team player
Ability to coordinate several tasks under time pressure
Service minded and relationship oriented
Ambition to excel
High level of integrity
Excellent collaboration and communication skills with strong proficiency in written and spoken English. French or German language skills is also considered an advantage.
