Summary of Duties and Responsibilities:
The School of Education (SOE) at Iowa State University invites applications for a nine-month appointment as an Assistant Professor, tenure-track, in Higher Education/Student Affairs with a start date of August 16, 2019.
Additionally, we are interested in scholars whose research focus and teaching interests cut across multiple institutional types in postsecondary education including community colleges, liberal arts institutions, minority serving institutions, and research universities.
Required Education and Experience:
An earned doctoral degree in higher education administration, student affairs, or a closely related field by the start date and experience working in a higher education setting.
Preferred Education and Experience:
Evidence of potential to develop an active research agenda, establish a strong publication record, and secure external funding commensurate with rank of Assistant Professor (tenure-track) at Iowa State University. Evidence of a commitment to equity and diversity. Demonstrated commitment to the land-grant mission of outreach and engagement.
