We are seeking an experienced professional to serve as the institution’s Vice President and Chief Financial Officer at our administrative headquarters in Santa Barbara, CA.
Under the leadership of the President, The Vice President and Chief Financial Officer is responsible for managing all financial aspects to ensure the long term health and viability of the organization. This includes providing leadership in the areas of long term planning, development and implementation of financial policies, and sound management of fiscal operations.
Coordinate long term financial planning in alignment with the University’s strategic plans.
Responsible for all financial related information reported to the Board of Trustees, senior management and governance groups.
Lead daily operations of the accounting team.
Advise the President and Board of Trustees on a broad range of issues that have financial impacts on the University.
Work closely with the Sponsored Research Program Office on federal grant administration.

A Master’s degree in business, accounting or related field and 7 to 10 years of experience managing financial aspects of an education institution or non-profit organization is required.
