Franklin Pierce University is seeking an enthusiastic individual for the position of Head Coach Men’s Soccer. As an integral member of the Athletics Coaching staff, this position reports directly to the Athletic Director. The position is a full-time, 12 month coaching position that is responsible for all aspects of the program development for the varsity Soccer program within institutional, conference and NCAA Division II regulations, inclusive of scheduling, budget management and recruitment and retention of student-athletes.
Experience and Qualifications:
Possess a Bachelor’s degree; Master’s preferred.
Experience with coaching at the college level is required.
Possess good organizational, oral and written communication skills.
Recruiting skills are essential in this role, so previous experience is a must.
Possess knowledge of athletic recruitment methods and techniques, and financial/business analysis techniques.
Must have in-depth knowledge of NCAA regulations and guidelines governing the recruitment and retention of student-athletes.
Skills in budget preparation and management strongly preferred.
The anticipated start date for this position is January 2019.
