Summary: Develop, update, and maintain product application data between our internal departments and ERP system, website, and distributor/dealers.
Successful candidate will:
Work closely with Engineering, Production, Purchasing, and Marketing Departments to obtain and validate product information as follows:
Engineering: Information regarding release date of product, vehicle fitment, material(s) of product, finish of Product (powder coated, painted, raw), performance information, installation manual, and CARB O.E. status.
Production: Information regarding shipping details and packaging dimensions.
Purchasing: Information regarding part number, name of part, and product category. Obtain part pricing, product status (pending, released/active, obsolete, direct sale only), Hazard Code, UPC Code, Tariff Classification Number.
Marketing: Information regarding images, descriptions and titles, completed owner’s manuals, video links, and any other necessary Marketing pieces.
Develop a streamlined workflow for the collection of and verification of product information.
Develop, maintain, and distribute product information tables for use in ACES & PIES datable formats sent to our 3rd party aggregators such as SEMA Data Co-op(SDC), DCi, ASAP network. Confirm distributor/dealer data is current and accurate.
Work with the Product Information Management system (PIM) to add and monitor all elements for incomplete data on products.
Maintain and manage the Master Catalog for products to ensure the reliability of product information in the Product Information System (PIM).
Develop product application files for our website. Verify accuracy of website, media, and installation instructions. Coordinate with website administrator in maintaining and updating website.
Verify accuracy and proof product information on all barcodes, weights/measures, product description, and installation instructions.
Handle all data requesters from SDC, DCi, ASAP, and others via provided portals.
Strong planning, organizational and critical thinking skills.
High school diploma or equivalent, with a minimum of 2 years of experience in an Information Systems position.
Extensive knowledge with social media, mechanical and technical knowledge of gasoline and diesel trucks and motorhomes required.
Must be familiar with ACES and PIES data formats.
Experience with Intuitive ERP system or similar ERP a plus.
Highly responsible, self-motivated and able to thrive in an energetic, fast-paced, creative environment.
Must be analytical, detailed, and have the ability to define and solve practical problems.
Strong work ethic and the ability to work effectively independently and in a team environment.
Outgoing, hands-on, and proactive in nature.
Must have excellent communication skills (written, verbal, presentation and interpersonal).
