Your role The role will be responsible for business requirement analysis in Liquidity Modelling change projects ensuring the requirements are accurate, complete and bridge well between Treasury business RtB and IT teams. The role requires ad-hoc business prototypes build up to back-up the business requirements, assumptions, dependencies on f2b business processes and data systems. The role offers exposure to senior individuals across UBS organization from Treasury and Finance to Cash Management and Front Office functions and is involved in a wide range of liquidity and funding risk management related topics. Internal Stakeholders: Businesses, Liquidity and Funding Governance and Reporting Analytics Teams, Group Asset Liability Management, Cash Management, Middle-Office, Treasury Risk Control, Treasury, Finance and Front/Middle Office IT.
Your team Group Treasury is responsible for the efficient management of UBS's financial resources and Group Asset & Liability Management (GALM) is a trading business that manages UBS's balance sheet portfolio risks.
You will actively take part in driving the business requirements within Treasury Solutions Liquidity Modelling change function working on various projects involving different liquidity and funding regulatory business steering & optimizations and data challenges arising from these objectives.
Your experience and skills
2 to 5 years' of business analysis experience in a quantitative analysis role
A Master's degree in financial engineering, mathematics or equivalent (a PhD is considered an asset)
Hands-on experience in business prototyping for back-testing new business concept
Good understanding of f2b booking model from front office to accounting view for minimum one of the following financial instruments: repurchase agreement, cash equity, security borrowing and lending and / or OTC derivatives
Some experience in Treasury regulatory implementation of LCR, Internal Stress Testing incl. quantitative modelling
Advanced analytical and problem solving skills with mathematical fluency
Experience working with advanced analytical tool and applying AI algorithms (e.g. Python, SAS, R, Matlab, Altrex, Tableau)
Good communication and interpersonal skills, enjoy working and coordinating among various stakeholders
High awareness of quality and deadlines
Able to work independently as well as part of the wider team
Task focused and able to meet tight deadlines where required
