Escambia County BCC is seeking a Department Director of Facilities
Salary Range: $85,883 - $113,734 Annually

The Director of Facilities Management is a highly responsible professional position requiring an ethical leader skilled in administration and supervision of the Facilities Management department.
The Escambia County Facilities Management Director plans, directs, coordinates, and supervises the activities of the Department which includes directing all maintenance, design, construction and renovations of county-owned and leased facilities, custodial services, and utilities.
Advises the County Administrator through the Assistant County Administrator on the activities and needs of the department and the results of its overall operations. Represents the Department before the Board of County Commissioners; presents issues, projects, proposals, and recommendations for Board action.
Bachelor's degree in engineering, architecture, construction management or a related field and six years’ experience in construction contract management which five years must be in a supervisory/ management position; or any equivalent combination of related training and experience.
Licenses & Certification:
Valid driver's license Certified Facility Manager (CFM) Certification or other Credentialing (BOMI, USGBC, LEEDS) is preferred.
