The Risk & Compliance Technology practice focusses on UK and EMEIA regions and sits within the Financial Services Advisory service line. Our consultants share a passion for helping our clients assess, design, and deploy holistic risk management solutions; transform operating models, and achieve regulatory compliance. We advise some of the largest financial services institutions, typically top tier investment banks across UK and EMEIA on large scale strategic and regulatory programmes that have significant impact on the risk management framework and architecture. The opportunity Due to the successful growth of the Compliance Technology business in the last two years we are currently recruiting highly motivated Senior Consultants. As part of the team you will support Financial Services companies achieve operational excellence and improve regulatory compliance by implementing, optimising and tuning Compliance Technology solutions and processes.
Typical projects the team are currently involved in:
AML transaction monitoring system implementation, optimisation and tuning
Sanctions customer screening/payment filtering implementation and solutions
KYC and customer on-boarding system implementation
Application of Machine Learning, AI and Data Analytics techniques to improve efficiency and effectiveness of Financial Crime processes
Trade surveillance solutions implementation
Fraud detection system implementation
Financial Crime Risk models
Your key responsibilities As a core member of the team you will:
Work effectively as a team member sharing responsibility, providing support, maintaining communication, and updating senior team members on progress
Assist in preparing reports and schedules that will be delivered to clients and other parties
Develop and maintain productive working relationships with client personnel
Build strong internal relationships within Advisory and across other service lines
Assist in the execution and day to day leadership of a portfolio of client projects

Strong interest and commitment to understanding and developing leading edge Financial Crime Prevention solutions to our industry clients

Appreciation of EY's solutions / go to market abilities and how these service client needs
Strong written and verbal communication, presentation, client service and technical writing skills, coupled with a strong interest in further developing and integrating operations with technology skills

To qualify for this role you must have
A successful track record in Wholesale Banking / Capital Markets / Retail Banking / Insurance experience gained either through a top tier consultancy (e.g. Big 4, IBM, Accenture) or top tier bank or a product vendor
Demonstrated ability to work with a team of technology advisors through all phases of the technology life cycle, including requirements definition, architecture design, conversion and testing
Experience in any of the following solution areas: AML Transaction Monitoring, KYC & Customer Information Management, Sanctions, Fraud, Models & Model Validation, FIU & Investigation Support, Anti-Bribery & Corruption, Surveillance and Monitoring, Regulatory Reporting, Enterprise Compliance Reporting & Governance, Regulatory Transformation, Vendor Risk, Consumer Protection
Ideally you'll also have
