Opportunity Tallahassee Pulmonary Clinic, one of the largest and most successful single specialty pulmonary groups in the southeast, seeks a full time BE/BC Pulmonologist to join their 10 physician member group. The physicians at Tallahassee Pulmonary enjoy an excellent balance between work and personal life.
As of March, 2018, Tallahassee Pulmonary Clinic is officially a Physician Partners Network Provider. Physician Partners is a community based, multi-specialty network affiliated with Tallahassee Memorial HealthCare. It was started as a way to improve the overall health of our community and to move our health system from a system with focus on crisis management and chronic diseases to a focus on prevention and health maintenance.
This group practices all aspects of pulmonary care including critical care and sleep medicine. The group serves as the administrators of a 12-bed sleep center and has a fully functioning pulmonary lab on site. In addition to outpatient services, these physicians serve as the lead group for the hospital intensivist group and assist with directing respiratory and the intensive care units at Tallahassee Memorial HealthCare. Tallahassee Pulmonary Clinic also plays a large and active role in hospital performance improvement by serving on improvement and executive committees.
Call is one in eight nights and one in four weekends.
Near, but far, from the well-known destinations of the Sunshine State, Tallahassee offers a distinct culture and community with access to some of the world's greatest beaches. The capital city, Tallahassee is a hub of political activity and home to universities, research institutes and some of Florida's most pristine nature. Often described as "The Other Florida" with its deep-rooted history, rolling hills, mild climate, southern-style hospitality and canopy roads of moss-draped oaks.
Tallahassee is a medium-sized city where the power of state government and a vibrant academic and artistic community are complemented by old-fashioned charm. Tallahassee is located in the central northwest panhandle region of Florida, 30 minutes north of the Gulf of Mexico and 30 minutes south of Thomasville Georgia. This region marks the center of the eight-county “Big-Bend” area.
