Fairview Health Services is looking for a 340B Program Director to work within Fairview Pharmacy Services at our corporate office in Minneapolis, MN.
This position will provide operational and strategic management, and process development for Fairview’s 340B programs to obtain optimal operational performance in compliance with legal, regulatory, and financial standards. Work with senior leadership to establish governance structures for all programs to ensure ongoing and effective oversight and communication. Establish and oversee ongoing analysis and audits of Fairview’s 340B programs. Assess and evaluate organizational risks related to the program, and communicate recommendations with key stakeholders including senior leadership. Manage staff and consultants related to the program and coordinate operational efforts from supporting departments. Actively participate in advocacy efforts, including involvement in trade associations and legislative lobbying. Fulfill the role of key contact with HRSA and support the authorizing authority and Fairview legal counsel. Fulfill the role of key contact with any internal or external audits of the program.
Responsible for effective governance of Fairview’s 340B programs to include Fairview, HealthEast, Grand Itasca, Range covered entities and contract pharmacies (collectively “Programs” or “Program”)
Responsible for operational performance of the Programs
Promote advocacy of the program
Supervise staff including hiring, orienting, coaching, evaluating and effectively managing performance to ensure staff possess the knowledge, skills and abilities needed to deliver high quality service to internal and external customers
Responsible for reporting interface and reporting related to the program.
Serve as the liaison with internal and external stakeholders including FHS and FPS operations, suppliers, trade organizations, and Group Purchasing Organizations.
Bachelor’s Degree in business, health care, data/IT or related or related field and/or equivalent relevant experience
7-10 years’ progressive experience in pharmacy or healthcare, including residency or 3+ years’ experience, including residency, with advanced degree
Demonstrated competency or experience in process management
Demonstrated ability collaborating with all levels of employees, including senior leadership
JD, MBA, or PharmD
Registered Pharmacist in Minnesota or eligible
Data management experience
Experience collaborating with C-suite executives
Experience directing others and or supervising staff
