The Contracts Team works with public funders to support our mission by ensuring we are meeting all benchmarks and successfully propelling our participants forward. We are looking for an individual that has strong administrative and interpersonal skills to assist in accomplishing our goals. Let’s get to work!
To build and maintain positive relationships with Cara funders while complying with contract guidelines, fulfilling our contractual obligations, and supporting the mission of Cara.
Oversee grant?related data?tracking and organization of documents, files and referenced materials including participant income and employment verification processes.
Coordinate and prepare reporting and vouchers for publicly funded grants, including reconciliation and analysis of supporting data and documentation.
Manage the administrative requirements of the DHS SNAP & TANF grants, including recruitment referrals, participant tracking and conciliation appointments, and monthly staffings at DHS offices throughout the City.
Complete data-entry tasks per contract requirements.
Provide technical assistance, interpretation and guidance to the program staff in matters relating to the compliance of applicable contracts.
Coordinate site visits from funders, interact with and respond to questions from government and foundation representatives, and participate in relevant discussions and meetings.
Identify new potential public and private funding opportunities through publications, website subscriptions, and other resources.
Develop and maintain strong, positive working relationships with grant contacts.
Work with internal and external parties in order to comply with policy and procedures as well as attend necessary bidders' conferences and grant workshops.
Work with Development and Finance teams during the proposal and contract negotiation process for grants.
Initiate and assist in special projects to develop more efficient reporting and data?tracking procedures.
Create systems within Cara to meet the guidelines of new or revised contracts.
Other tasks as needed related to publicly-funded grants.

Bachelor’s Degree or applicable combination of education and experience
Excellent organizational skills and an ability to meet deadlines is essential
Proficiency in MS Office
High level of self?motivation and strong attention to detail
Solid oral and written communication skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic, fast?paced environment
Strong analytical skills
Salesforce knowledge is a plus

Additional Salary Information: The salary range for this position is $35,000 - $40,000 based on experience
