We Offer The Chief Data Officer (CDO) function is responsible to establish and maintain a strong Data Management environment within the Chief Compliance and Regulatory Office (CCRO) division. To support its operations, we are looking for a Senior Data Governance Analyst to support the Head of Data Governance out of the New York office. Your main responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Support the definition, implementation and maintenance of the front-to-back Data Governance framework within the CCRO organization, including outreach strategies and communication channels.
Design, establish and maintain the divisional Data Inventory and ensure its quality, in particular ontologies, data models, data lineage and data delivery agreements.
Analyze data flows (data lineage) at the application/interface level or at the individual field level. Identify, collect and manage information about data definition, usage and transformation.
Support identification of critical data and its ownership, mapping and lineage.
Support, monitor and control execution of the Data Governance framework and processes, and track and report metrics.
Establish and maintain templates, knowledge base and training material.
Act as Data Governance champion and support stakeholders with training and daily queries.
Support logistics, administration and operation of the divisional Data Governance Council.

You Offer Skills and Expertise - Desired:
7+ years' experience in a global bank and a data related environment, particularly one involving change.
Understanding of Data Management, Data Governance and Business and Technical Data Architecture.
Background in data analytics and/or banking process analysis.
Fundamental knowledge of data concepts such as modeling, glossary, lineage etc.
Strong analytical skills and problem solving capabilities.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
High sense of responsibility and independent working practice, showing initiative and high level of reliability.
Experience in working in a global multi-location environment.
Professional command of the English language.
Skills and Expertise - Preferred:
Knowledge of Financial products and processing.
Business analysis and requirements engineering (BABOK, ISEB or similar certification is a plus).
Experience with Data Management practices and tools (such as Collibra, Informatica iDQ).
Data Governance regulations in the Banking industry (BCBS 239, DFS504, FTR/FATF16).
Enterprise Data Governance (ISACA or similar certification is a plus).
Architectural Frameworks (SAFe, TOGAF or similar certification is a plus).
Business process modeling (BPMN 2.0 or similar is a plus).
Verbal and written proficiency in German is a plus.
