Position Description: The cash/funding group's primary responsibility is to ensure that Exchange margin requirement is met accurately and promptly. JP Morgan is a clearing member for most of the Exchanges Globally.
This role is focused upon derivative Exchanges Globally. It is helpful that the candidate has some knowledge of the majority of these markets. The Singapore Regional Operations Centre (ROC) will be JP Morgan's preferred hub for a wide range of operational support for our listed derivatives business. Any candidate should have some understanding of the funding requirements and cutoffs. The Specialist is responsible for ensuring that:
He/she has some knowledge of the products and the exchange rules covered by the team and is aware of the functions of the global business
He/she should be a point of contact for the group from ASIAPAC strategic standpoint.
All funding requirements/margin calls are processed accurately and promptly both at the exchange and within the internal clearing system
All FX for restricted currencies are performed accurately and timely
He/she should be aware of the appropriate escalation procedures when issues are raised
He/she reviews and checks production output from a control aspect
Processes are reviewed regularly and where possible make suggestions for greater efficiency
All procedures are kept up to date and easily accessible
Any ad hoc requests/queries of the team are dealt with in an appropriate manner
Essential Skills: A Specialist should possess the following skills:
F&O Knowledge - (some Market & Product Knowledge for ASPAC markets would be advantageous)
