The Architecture Technology Analyst is a member of the broader enterprise architecture team within MetLife. The architect is responsible for the stewardship of the global Enterprise Architecture governance processes, and technology portfolio management. The architect should possess a strong ability to review purchase requisitions, understand technologies included and make decisions accordingly. The architect will collaborate with other architects, developers, vendor management, IT Risk & Security, Infrastructure and Business personnel across all levels of the organization.
Co-chairs Technology Steering Committee (TSC) and facilitates Architecture Review Boards Ever-greens MetLife Technology Stack (MTS), working with technology product /platform owners Approves non-standard purchasing requests following governance processes Maintains Enterprise architecture portal and audit processes around it Prepare monthly metrics for reporting to management Fosters innovation and process agility without compromising risk, security and quality
Essential Business Experience and Technical Skills:
Demonstrated ability to understand, analyze, and apply abstract architectural concepts Excellent oral and written communication skills with evidence of effective influencing, collaboration, and negotiating skills Willing to work independently with minimal supervision, and usually meets all expectations Ability to work simultaneously on multiple initiatives Broad knowledge of technologies 2+ years of related experience Bachelor’s degree required with major in related business/technology field preferred
Broad knowledge of insurance industry technologies Good understanding of MetLife Business, products and technology footprint Knowledge of SharePoint and/or Ariba or similar
