Provide technical development and back-end programming in support of the NYU's Digital Communications Group, the unit responsible for managing NYU's overall web presence and applications of the web within NYU. Responsible for being the technical lead our group's initiative to build a Drupal-based web CMS service that can better pool NYU community development talent within a governance and standards-based framework. Partner with other web developers on our team and within the NYU IT community to manage our overall DevOps code management and integration streams. Additionally, manage the mobile CMS (Kurogo) that powers our NYU Mobile app (in iOS and Android stores) and our official NYU iOS and Android mobile app stores - which requires uploading test and production mobile apps for NYU Mobile and other NYU-published mobile apps.
Required Education: Bachelor's degree in computer or information science or a related subject.
Preferred Education: Drupal Developer training.
Required Experience: 3 years' relevant experience working with web development technology and systems integration or equivalent combination. Must include experience with the Drupal web CMS.
Preferred Experience: Experience in Drupal web development.
Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities: Advanced knowledge of web development using Drupal and its technology stack of PHP, MySQL/MariaDB, XML, etc. Knowledge and experience in DevOpps methods and tools such as Github, Jenkins, Maven, Jira, etc.
