Position is responsible for the acceptance and oversight of provider data for managed care credentialing and distribution to Epic.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Review provider data received from WU Departments to assure that all the required information has been submitted for credentialing, scheduling, billing, etc.
Review the formatting of each data field to keep the data in line with MSOW and Epic standards.
Review to assure that any related fields are available and correspond with appropriate data.
Update formatting/data as necessary and follow up with WU Departments.
Completion of the “error/rejection” report from Epic to assure data is complete and available for uploading into Epic.
Ensure accuracy and maintenance of WU provider, group and facility data/information in system credentials database. Appropriate utilization of the database to populate applications, house enrollment information, scan enrollment and application documents, produce reports, lists, rosters, etc.
Assure the confidentiality and integrity of all aspects of WU provider data programs and processes.
Support credentialing staff in all aspects of credentialing and provider data, as necessary.
Data auditing or proofreading experience.
Effective verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
Demonstrated Microsoft Office Suite abilities.
Effective working knowledge of provider enrollment for managed care plans, government entities and provider on-boarding.
Equivalent of high school diploma.
Three or more years’ experience in reviewing and processing a high volume of data in a timely manner.
The hiring range for this position is $17.14 - $21.85 per hour.
