Position Summary: Incumbent provides strategic and operational oversight for the UCI Health Data Warehouse and analytics platform and directs a team that provides the comprehensive Business Intelligence and Analytics (BIA) services for UCI Health. Partners with executive leadership in defining and developing the overall data & analytics strategy to support data-driven healthcare and associated performance reporting to drive success in population health outcomes, patient experience, and cost of care delivery. Incumbent develops the strategies of clinical and research data architecture, management, harmonization, governance and visualization to drive UCI Health initiatives. The incumbent is responsible for the development and maintenance of a global enterprise data architecture strategy to guide and inform all initiatives related to the re-use of clinical data to support clinical and quality outcomes analysis, regulatory quality reporting, financial, administrative and clinical research. Provides strategic oversight for the Epic Healthy Planet module integration within the overall population health analytics strategy. Works with leadership to build consensus and ensure understanding of the necessary drivers for success. The position serves as a highly visible leader, colleague and mentor, providing leadership, direction, and education across the system as it relates to data, analytics and population health analytics.

Preferred Qualifications: 2+ years programming experience, including SQL, XML, JavaExperience using ServiceNow to manage team workloadKnowledge of University and medical center organizations, policies, procedures and formsKnowledge of healthcare and academic industry
