Proficient in and provides advice concerning contractual, legal and ethical matters encompassed by both U.S. Government laws and regulations as well as Company policies, procedures, and practices. Knowledge concerning the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), the Department of Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS), ITAR, EAR, OFAC, and/or ATF regulations encouraged.
Regularly exercises initiative, independent judgment and discretion in the performance of duties.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and works well with internal and external customers toward the accomplishment of Company objectives and goals. Adapts style and method of communication (written, oral or presentation) as appropriate. Uses technology to optimize effectiveness/efficiency.
Ability to research and summarize complex issues, produce in a fast-paced environment, and work independently.
Computer literacy (proficient with Microsoft Office Suite).
What You’ll Be Doing:
Handle contractual issues, including government contract issues, relative to customer solicitations, submission of proposals, negotiations, contracts, and contract changes.
Prepare all Deviation Memos for DZLSLLC and DZLSLLC-Camden requesting Corporate approval to deviate from contracting policy as it relates to contract type and work at risk; exclusion of damages; limitation of liability; warranty requirements; indemnification and insurance obligations to the customer; insurance and indemnification protections; protection for excusable delays; entitlement to an equitable adjustment in contract price/schedule due to changes in work; how disputes will be handled and governing laws; and (if applicable) an assessment of foreign involvement.
Conduct contractual review of incoming solicitations, contracts, and contract negotiations documents for acceptability of terms and conditions and correlation with Company policies and commitments. Communicate any unusual requirements to appropriate personnel.
Act as the single point of contact for contractual matters with U.S. Government customers.
Define and interpret contractual obligations and resolves contractual issues for both internal and external customers.
Provide contract administration support and/or leads in contract negotiations, proposal preparation, fact-finding, government pre-award/post-award audits, contract close-outs and other related activities.
Administer all U.S. Government contracts and changes thereto. Maintain contract files to ensure compliance with all Company and customer requirements.

What You Need To Bring To The Table:
B. S. Degree in Business or related field.
2 years’ experience in contract administration, proposal preparation, contract pricing, program management, or other contract-related activities.
CPCM a plus
