This role reports to the Head of IWM Northern Europe Compliance and supports a large Compliance function across the Northern Europe jurisdictions where IWM has a presence. This is an exciting and diverse role allowing the candidate to be involved in a wide range of compliance topics involving regulatory change, compliance infrastructure projects and risk management initiatives.
In this function you will have the following unique opportunities:
Frequent interaction with Compliance teams across the Northern Europe region and with Head Office for projects, management information, reviews, etc.
Supporting the Head of IWM Northern Europe Compliance in critical initiatives driven by the Credit Suisse Group.
Leading the co-ordination of Northern Europe updates for senior management and executive board members.
Analysis of core Compliance management information across the Northern Europe region.
Preparation of the UK governance packs (inc Board Risk Committee and the Operational Risk and Compliance Committee).
Supporting the UK Head of Compliance on implementation of the Senior Managers Regime within the Compliance function by ensuring governance documentation remains up to date.
Supporting with tracking regulatory change applicable to each of the Northern Europe jurisdictions.

Strong experience in working within the financial services sector as a business manager.
Excellent interpersonal skills. You must be a team player with ability to interact with peers across international locations and at differing seniority.
Self-starter who enjoys a fast paced and diverse working environment and enjoys the challenge of new tasks.

High commitment and proactivity.
Previous experience of working in a dynamic Compliance function is not required but will be a strong advantage.
Good knowledge of EU and UK financial sector regulation is an advantage.
