The Grant Writing Intern will assist with the identification of appropriate grantors and the execution and submission of grant requests. This position would require an intern with strong research, writing, and analytical skills. This position requires approximately a 10-20 hour per week commitment.
Duties and Responsibilities
Assists in the completion of grant applications to federal, corporate, and private funders.
Research and identify available government and private funding opportunities
Maintain knowledge of proper protocols and all relevant local, federal, and state guidelines required for the proper proposal submission process
Generate revenues for PrimeCare’s programs and services through submission of researched, well-written, and well-documented fundraising proposals
Generate proposals and all required supporting documents in response to solicitations
Write reports to foundation, government, and other funders
Maintain funding calendar activities for PrimeCare
Maintain communication on progress of obtained grants with project staff and executive staff

Experience with Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Adobe.
Required Knowledge, Experience, or Licensure/Registration
Current college student, or college graduate who is self-motivated and directed
1-2 years of experience in grant-writing/development desired
